Performance Date: December 20, 2009

Lux Radio Theater ran on the NBC Blue Network from 1934 to 1935, CBS from 1935-1954, and NBC from 1954-1955. It transferred to television in the early 1950s where it ran through most of the decade.

It became the most popular dramatic anthology series on radio. Many leading stage and screen stars, including Agnes Moorehead, Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Joan Crawford, and Orsen Welles, appeared in Lux Radio Theater productions—often in roles they originated on stage or screen.

Over the years, Lux Radio Theater broadcast four shows based on Walt Disney films beginning with this production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” which included Thelma Hubbard and James Eagles.
